2. WHAT BATTERY CHEMISTRY DOES ECOYOKE USE, AND WHY?

We use Pylontech US5000 flat-cell lithium-ion batteries, one of the most advanced, stable, and serviceable energy storage platforms on the market. These batteries offer an ultra-long cycle life of over 6,000 full charge/discharge cycles at 80% depth of discharge—meaning your ECOYoke system can last well over 15 years in daily use.

The flat-cell design reduces internal resistance and heat generation, improving efficiency and system lifespan. These batteries are modular and scalable, so you can expand your capacity easily while keeping maintenance simple.

3. CAN ECOYOKE BESS INTEGRATE WITH SOLAR PANELS OR OTHER RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES?

Yes—and in fact, solar charging is standard on all our units. We pre-install MPPT charge controllers in every ECOYoke containerised system to ensure clients can make the most of solar energy from day one.

Here’s the smart bit: most construction sites in Dublin already have large 40-foot office units. If those rooftops can “see the sky,” they’re perfect for adding solar panels. The more you install, the more free DC energy you push into the batteries—reducing your fuel use, generator runtime, and overall energy costs.

As a result, installation usually takes just a couple of hours on-site. The unit is delivered fully preconfigured and tested, so it’s literally: drop, connect, and power up.

6. WHAT HAPPENS IF A CUSTOMER NEEDS TECHNICAL SUPPORT ON SITE?

If there’s a fault or performance issue, our remote diagnostics system flags it immediately. In most cases, we can resolve it remotely through the Victron Energy monitoring system.

If not, we have a trained support team in Dublin and a nationwide network of service engineers. Our design allows the outer container to be repaired or swapped without interfering with the internal battery stack—so downtime is minimal.
