What ID do I need?

Photo ID required on all hires. Irish Driving licenses only & <3 Month old Utility Bill
Passports are OK but as they have no address so we will also need a utility bill
Proof of insurance may be required covering plant
Vehicle registration plates are not ID.


Do I need a Deposit?

A deposit is required for all cash customers. This covers additional days and consumables
Minimum deposit is €250. This is taken as a card pre-authorisation and charged on return. On completion of rental pre-Auths take between 1 – 10 days to reverse depending on your bank with the average time being 48Hrs.
Minimum Deposit on Plant items EG Diggers,Dumpers, Shredders Car Transporters is €1000 on CARD Only with authorisation to auto charge.
Proof of insurance will also be required on plant items
Payable in Cash / Visa or Debit Card / Online with Prompt
Cheques? We haven’t accepted these since the first Hangover movie was in theatres.

* Please be aware that refunds or completions to your bank card although processed immediately can take a few days to return to your account. This entirely depends on your bank and may take longer during holiday periods. This is a bank process over which we have no control. AIB , Revolut & BOI being the quickest while An Post, American Express, TSB & Irish Permanent or prepaid taking >7 days


Can I get my items delivered and Collected?

Yes we have a delivery service. Delivery rates are quoted when booking and are based on distance travelled.
Please be aware that as some jobs over run we will not assume you are finished with an item until you call us to collect.


Im not sure which tool is best?

No problem we will listen and advise you for free. Tell us what you are doing we have many years of experience and knowledge to share.


Will you show me how to use the equipment?

Yes we will demonstrate the safe working of the equipment. Unfortunately we can not do the job for you.


Do you have everything in stock?

Generally we will always have popular items in stock to confirm stock or to book you can call us on 01-4192800.


What happens if I forget to return an item

You will be charged for all time out (not time used) however if your item goes over time we will give you a reminder call. you can either return the item or we can take additional payment. Account customers will receive a weekly on hire list.


Do you sell equipment

Yes we can sell and source new products. Have a look in the Store All Ex Rental items are sold at auction.


What happens if something is damaged, broken or missing?

Anything beyond normal wear and tear we may charge for broken or damaged equipment. Be sure equipment is secured when not in use and protected from vandalism or loss.


Do I have to clean the equipment before I return it?

A cleaning charge will be levied if equipment is returned that’s requires extra cleaning.


What about safety and equipment usage?

It is your responsibility to ensure that all operators of hired equipment are properly instructed in its safe and correct use. The hirer must ensure that equipment is not miss-used.

I need a Trailer. What documentation will I need?

We have a range of trailers available to hire from small single axle for moving furniture or green waste to trailers for transporting cars. Please be aware that any trailer rented in that is >750Kg it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate +E license. Shipping of Sale Items

This can be arranged via DPD Courier. All goods must be paid for in advance by bank transfer on secure online Authipay.

When paying by Credit cards (Customer not present) this must be done using our secure Authipay / Prommt payments. Payments over the phone we may request you bring the same card with you along with photo ID which has proof of address.
